
As global warming predictions become gloomier the evidence is accumulating: coffee plantations using organic systems have more chance of surviving.
Some expert sources are saying up to 70% of coffee growing area is under threat, while the loss of bee species is likely to reduce yields.
The good news is that a thriving ecosystem increases coffee production and not just by increasing pollination. Other factors range from water retention to the beneficial input from native mammals.
