Description
Sustainably shade grown, the coffee plants are treated with care, and fed and washed in pure spring water. It takes its name from Tunki, a locally-found wild bird.
The Tunki coffee is traditionally farmed by hand and produced without the use of nasty pesticides or chemicals. Situated high in the mountains amongst the most beautiful flora and fauna of the Tambopata Valley, the coffee beans are firstly fed and washed by pure spring waters and then harvested by the local indigenous Quechua and ‘Aymara’ speaking families.
This coffee bean works fantastically well in all brewing equipment, including espresso / cappuccino machines, cafetiere pots, paper / metal filter brewers, and Turkish brewers.
