Our Organic Breakfast Blend is a carefully crafted mix, combining Assam tea for its distinctive floral notes and Ceylon tea for added strength.Assam tea, known for its higher caffeine content, is popular as a “breakfast tea.” Its uniqueness lies in the oxidation process the leaves undergo after harvesting and withering, which imparts the tea with its characteristic rich flavour and deep colour.Our Assam tea blend is made from a balanced combination of half-broken leaf orthodox and half ‘Crush, Tear, Curl’ (CTC) processed leaves. While orthodox tea is rolled into strips, the CTC crushes the leaves into small pellets using cylindrical rollers with sharp teeth. This blend ensures you get the best of both worlds—a robust yet smooth tea experience.We offer these tea bags in two variations. The one-cup bags are smaller, allowing the Assam to take centre stage, producing a finer, lighter, and more aromatic brew. The two-cup bags, on the other hand, offer normal strength, ideal for a larger mug. These produce a stronger, full-bodied brew, making them a favourite among both our retail and catering customers.
