Guatemalan Blend Organic Fairtrade

A mild roast blend of Guatemala and Peru

This is one of our most popular medium-mild coffees. In recent years there has been a growth in demand for mild roast coffees with Brasil a popular starting point. However we find Peru, though more expensive, works better on a mild roast and unlike most Brasil's it is available as organic Fairtrade.

Guatemalan offers excellent flavor and body which the Peru is wrapped around (to use trade expressions)

Flavor notes: a Full bodied rich flavor with high acidity with slight fruity and chocolate tones.

Blending tip: when deciding on a mixed roast blend it usually works better to have more of the milder roast, less of the stronger.

Blending tip: even the strongest roast can be mixed with a normal tasting blend - so long as you use very little. Start by trying one part in four.
