Organic Coffee Sample Pack - Mild Blends

Our organic coffee sample packs are an excellent way to try a selection of our organic roast coffees. Each sample pack contains a 250g bag of three types of ground coffee. The coffee types have been selected to complement each other and show the range of flavours available in each strength.

Each sample pack contains three blends of mild roast coffees including our house blend, Guatemalan and Mexican.

These are the other end of the spectrum from our strong samples. The beans are lightly roasted, sometimes almost a sandy brown, leaving the sugars mostly intact. If you change from a stronger roast it will taste weak and take a few days for your pallette to adjust. This coffee with its sugars can taste like a creamy fruit juice, some more creamy, some more fruity. The balance between sugars and acidity depends not only on the origin but also the processing. Wet processed coffee, where the unroasted beans are soaked and fermented, has more acidity. Acidity is highly valued in the coffee trade where a fruity wet processed Kenyan is worth three time a dry processed Brasil.
